The Bench

Client devices stay under NDA, so I build and test open demonstrators in my lab in Germany to show what can be delivered in days. Below you will find their full build specs and experimental data, alongside the in-house lab behind every project.

Conde Engineering studio lab and testing bench in Germany

From raw substrate to fluidically verified hardware, under one roof.

My lab closes the loop between building and testing in days. I combine materials and methods freely, then verify the fluidics on the bench before a device leaves it:

  • Materials & Surfaces: Glass, engineering thermoplastics, PDMS (moulded), high-resolution 3D-printed resins, hybrid cartridges, and tailored hydrophilic/hydrophobic coatings.
  • In-House Validation: Precision flow control, microscopy, and benchtop actuation/sensing electronics.
  • Designed with Volume in View: I design with the production process in mind and flag early what will need to change for moulding.
  • Novel Processes & Integration: If your project demands atypical substrates, active actuation, or embedded sensor integration, I welcome the challenge and will develop the tooling needed to build and test it.
